The VP9 is the H&K latest pistol release in June 2014. It is a polymer-framed semi-automatic striker-fired pistol. It was under development for more than four years and improved from HK P30 type.
The name of VP means "Volkspistole" (People's pistol) and inherits from the VP70. It has all the hallmarks of the latest pistols. All controls are completely ambidextrous.
