Introducing the improved Model 17 Gen5 MOS, a 5th generation Model 17 with enhanced functionality.
This model features the "MOS" (Modular Optics System), allowing for the installation of a dot sight. It faithfully reproduces the characteristics of the Model 17 Gen5, such as the modified front slide with added chamfering and serrations, the grip without a finger channel, and the ambidextrous slide stop.
Furthermore, Tokyo Marui developed a new blowback engine with approximately 20% increased cylinder capacity specifically for the MOS version. The magazine has also been upgraded. This model achieves the most robust recoil among gas blowback replicas while incorporating high durability through the use of new materials.
Compatible with optional micro-pro sights
The slide is specifically designed to accommodate the installation of an optional micro-pro sight (Options Separately). By removing the cover at the rear of the slide, you can attach the micro-pro sight using a mount spacer.
Replicating the 5th generation Model 17
Reproducing the specifications of the evolved Gen5, it features chamfering and serrations on the front of the slide, a slide stop that can be operated with either hand, a grip without finger grooves to accommodate various hand sizes and a flared magwell for easy magazine insertion.
Cocking indicator
Equipped with a mechanism that allows easy determination of whether the firearm is in a ready-to-fire state based on the position of the trigger.
New MOS-compatible cylinder
With the development of a new blowback engine, the cylinder capacity has been increased by approximately 20%. The slide is made of a high-durability carbon-infused resin to withstand the increased recoil.
Included grip backstraps
Comes with two types of grip backstraps (S/M) in two sizes. Allows for adjustment of grip comfort according to hand size.
New die-cast magazine
Featuring a magazine capacity of 25 rounds, the gas capacity is increased by approximately 20% compared to previous Model 17 magazines. Included is a durable die-cast magazine that is resistant to cold temperatures.
